No es posible encontrar la respuesta adecuada a una pregunta compleja sin identificar el mayor número de variables. A preguntas complejas, parece obvio, se necesitan respuestas complejas.
Todo lo contrario: las respuestas deben ser sencillas.
El análisis detallado -más bien, delicado- de todos los condicionantes debe ser siempre el punto de partida. Sobre la base topográfica e hidrológica, las preexistencias y la acción humana en el tiempo, la morfología del lugar y el entorno próximo y alejado, cualquier análisis eficaz, siempre sobre la base de una restitución del Territorio fiable, debe aproximarse a éste en varias escalas sucesivas.
