La cubrición es extremadamente sencilla. Parte de la decisión de extruir en su anchura las arcadas existentes forrando esta forma en una doble capa de policarbonato translucido. La forma resultante es, en definitiva, el espacio ya existente. El esfuerzo estructural, de una depuración extrema, compensa la ligereza de la cubierta y permite la máxima entrada de luz, evitando perder las cualidades espaciales originales, obteniendo un espacio adecuado a su fin. La apuesta por una cubierta ligera de policarbonato permite además que la interferencia con las preexistencias, sea mínima. Una serie de vigas transversales de 55-60cm de canto, siguiendo la modulación de los arcos existentes, resuelven con un solo gesto, mediante el diseño de su sección, la cubrición, el apoyo de la doble capa de policarbonato, también se transforman en canalón para el desagüe de las aguas de lluvia y alojan en su parte inferior una iluminación continua. Estas vigas se apoyan sobre los pilares existentes, soldándose a una llanta de acero. Las uniones son del tipo semi-rígidas mediante apoyos y atornillamientos que permiten el ajuste definitivo de las secciones y perfiles. Así, la prefabricación de todos los elementos asegura un ajuste y optimización total de las secciones necesarias y un montaje en seco extraordinariamente veloz.
