alcolea+tárrago is an architecture firm founded in 2005 in Pamplona, Spain, by Rubén Alcolea and Jorge Tárrago They are architects, both hold a Ph.D. in Architecture by the University of Navarra, and also collaborate in teaching, research and publishing initiatives.
The professional office is based in Pamplona, Spain. The architecture work has been awarded in more than twenty national and international competitions and it has been published in several magazines and compilation books. Among the projects, stand out the Sports Complex in La Figuerassa (2007), the House MP in Sesma (2009), the New Technologies Building in Aulesti (2015), the Headquarters and Auditorium for the Public University in Malaga (2017) or the Multipurpose Building in Castro Urdiales (2019) among others.Their work has been awarded ‘XIV BEAU Spanish Architecture Biennale’ (2018); ‘Premi AJAC VI (2009) para jóvenes arquitectos / AJAC VI Award for young architects’ by Col.legi d’Arquitectes de Catalunya; shortlisted in the ‘Europe 40 under 40 for Emerging Young Architects and Designers 2010’ by The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies and The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design; selected for the prize HISE Sveta 2013 – Ljubljana; finalists for the Architecture Awards COAVN by the Colegio de Arquitectos Vasco Navarro; and Spanish Architecture Award in 2013 by the CSCAE Colegio Superior de Arquitectos de España.

alcolea+tárrago es un estudio de arquitectura fundado en Pamplona en 2005 por Rubén Alcolea y Jorge Tárrago Ambos son arquitectos y doctores por el Departamento de Proyectos de la Universidad de Navarra, y colaboran activamente en docencia, investigación y edición de publicaciones.
El estudio profesional está situado en Pamplona. Su trabajo ha sido premiado en más de veinte concursos nacionales e internacionales, y se ha visto publicado en varias revistas y libros compilatorios. Entre sus proyectos, destacan el Complejo Deportivo en La Figuerassa (2007); la Casa MP en Sesma (2009); el Edificio para Nuevas Tecnologías en Aulesti (2015); el Pabellón de Gobierno y Paraninfo para la Universidad de Málaga (2017); o el Edificio multiusos en Castro Urdiales (2019), entre otros.
